Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MotionSeed website at seedance-2.video (the “Site”) and any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

MotionSeed is an AI-powered video generation platform. The Service allows users to generate videos using various AI models including but not limited to Seedance 2.0, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and Wan 2.6. Features include image-to-video, text-to-video, and reference-to-video generation.

Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use the Service. You may register using Google OAuth or email magic link.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.

Credits and Payment

Credit System

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Video generation consumes credits based on the model used, video duration, resolution, and other parameters. Credit costs vary by model and are displayed before generation begins.

Purchasing Credits

  • Credits can be purchased through subscription plans or one-time purchases.
  • All payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (Stripe and/or Creem).
  • Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the pricing page and are inclusive of any applicable charges unless otherwise stated.

Credit Expiration

Purchased credits may have an expiration date. Credits are consumed on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis, meaning older credits are used before newer ones. Expired credits cannot be refunded or reinstated.

Refund Policy

  • Credits consumed for successfully generated videos are non-refundable.
  • If a video generation fails due to a system error, the credits frozen for that task will be automatically released back to your account.
  • For subscription refunds, please contact us within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any credits from that subscription period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Generate content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Generate deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive others about real individuals
  • Generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
  • Attempt to circumvent any rate limits, credit restrictions, or security measures
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the Service without our prior written consent
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice or refund.

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of the input content (prompts, images) you provide to the Service. For videos generated by the Service, you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, download, and share the generated content for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Our Service

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of MotionSeed. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

AI-Generated Content

AI-generated videos are produced by third-party AI models. We do not guarantee that generated content is original or free from resemblance to existing works. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with applicable laws, including intellectual property and publicity rights laws.

Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
  • AI models available through the Service may be updated, replaced, or removed at our discretion.
  • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may temporarily affect Service availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that results will be accurate or reliable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
  • In no event shall MotionSeed be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MotionSeed, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, with or without cause, with or without notice.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your generated videos may be deleted after account termination.
  • Any unused credits at the time of termination are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
